Duchess Home !

Duchess was a neglect case. She and her Chihuahua companion were left outside for years. They were given food but not consistently and endured staff infections from being out on the damp concrete. Bulldogs should not be left in the heat because of their stature and challenged breathing, but she survived!  The Chihuahua found a home and we took on this Bullie Baby girl. Duchess came into a foster home with several small dogs and though she was 50 pounds larger than the crew she fit right in. she liked to be under the blankets and she chose the smallest beds to curl up in! She suffered from joint problems due to being on the concrete for so long. We were able to rehabilitate her some-what and once she was in her Dads care he made her rehabilitation his mission! Well first he had to over come the hurdle of integrating to dominant dogs into loving sisters! In time he has had Duchie accomplishing her challenges and now she is happy, healthy and able to share Dad!
