Caesar was given up by his owners because they bought a puppy! The rescue they gave him to, contacted us to take him because he was older than they usually take in! In our care, during his first vet visit we found out Caesar has Cushing’s disease and a few other things so he started a series of tests to balance his little body. His loving personality began to emerge and Caesar, the cuddle baby, became a favorite of the volunteers!
Several months later a woman inquired about Caesar who had rescued several dogs in the past and she was familiar with the medical care and rehabilitation these dogs need. So of course they were a match and we are forever grateful for Caesars Mom’s continual devoted care and love! Caesar then joined his big brother Chester, who was the last of a pack of seven rescue dogs their mom previously cared for till their last days.
Months after Ceasar was adopted, their mom saved another baby named Marley a one eyed Maltese mix that was supposed to be 12 years old but once he was healthy acted like 6!!! It is amazing what wonderful care, love, and holistic food will do to rehabilitate a pet!
