Haugen Doggy was found in Miami and no one claimed him. He is about 10 years old in good health and 11pounds. He is sweet and LOVES to go for walks. He gets along well with everyone. The woman who found him was eating ice-cream and he started dancing and talking for his share so she named him Haugen Doggy! What ever he wants he will let you know and where ever you go he will be right there with you! He likes toys when you interact with him and he plays with some puppy playful dogs. Tara and Daphne were found in their human mothers home after their mom had passed away. The woman rescued the girls during Hurricane Katrina and neighbors said she was so proud of the pair! Unfortunately they are looking for homes again and we are willing to separate them as they both are not clinging to each other. Tara is about 8 years old and 15 pounds. She’s a loving Carin Terrier mix with a cuddly personality. She lowers her head and front legs as to bow in excitement. WAY CUTE! She will be getting a dental cleaning and is otherwise healthy. Burt came to us from a shelter and just like all the rest we could not understand why this sweet boy was homeless. As Burt became more comfortable in his foster home he started to show possession of his bed towards the other dogs. We adopted him as an only dog and his life was wonderfully pampered and he showed mutual love. This went on for about several months till he got a skin rash and the adopters vet put him on Prednisone, a steroid, that is known to make people angry and it made Burt aggressive to his adopters only if they wanted to sit on the couch where he was. They tried to work with him but he was still on the Pred so he did not get better. Since he has been back in our care he has gone through detoxification, holistic and conventional vetting as well as formal obedience training. He is good now with the other foster dogs supervised, and his foster mom but we still would not put him with children. Burt needs a consistent, calm adult home with people willing to imply our knowledge and training techniques to help him adjust in his forever home. Zack became close to his family's son that had shared custody between parents, so when the son was not home Zack was restless at night and sad "waiting for his boy" to come home! Since Zack was not able to go with the boy to the other parents house, the family felt it was best for Zack to go to home with consistent people so Zack would not feel abandoned. Zack is 5 years old and a Schnauzer/Poodle mix. He is a total love and good with everyone. He can be shy at first but will instantly cuddle in your lap! He is hypoallergenic and just a dream. This is Namaste, an 8-10 month old, 6 pound Chihuahua boy. He was found on the street with a bad leg. We took Namaste to our vet and the x-rays and show Namaste’ has Luxsating Patella (common with small dogs where the knee cap does not stay in place). He showed us a bone fragment down by the ankle and swelling there as well as on both hips. With that and the scrape on is front elbow the vet thinks Namaste’ was hit by a car. He defiantly has Luxsating patella on both back knees BUT his knee caps are in place just wobbly. The only time surgery is needed is when the knee cap is twisted and wont stay on the knee. Our vet consulted a specialist that feels t with Namaste’ being so young it would be beneficial to do both the ankle and knee surgery at the same time. This way he will have less risks of problems in the future. Namaste has received the surgery and is recovering well. He will be a total of six weeks in a cast and then back to puppy play days!  He is a bit thin and will probably be around 7pounds when he is at full weight. He gives gentle kisses and will be getting the rest of his vetting over the next couple weeks. Zeno is an adorable eight month old Chihuahua puppy that is excited to meet you! This is one very loving and affectionate little guy. He is eager to please and it shows with how well he is doing on his obedience, leash and potty training. He also loves to play with toys and enjoys doggy chews but is not destructive. Broxi snuggle boy is waiting for an active home that has time to play with him and/or give him regular exercise. He is puppy playful and willing to please.
